...the Service Starts at 9.15 a.m. We all read or hear this announcement but few would dream of coming to Shul that early on a Shabbat morning. If the Shabbat morning service appears to be one long undifferentiated mass of hebrew to you, Rabbi Gordon will explain the structure of the service providing an excellent opportunity for you to understand the flow, structure and content of our services. There will be snippets of teaching throughout the service and there will not be a sermon. So that's 9.15 am - this coming Shabbat - why not give it a try... Tea and coffee will be available from 9.00 - 9.15 am in the kitchen. Stephen Cotsen PS We were delighted to hear this week that our member June Jacobs was awarded a C.B.E. in the Queen's Birthday Honours for service to human rights and to inter-faith relations. Mazal tov, June, on this richly deserved honour.
