Professor Goodman is Professor of Jewish Studies at the University of Oxford and author of leading scholarly and popular books on Jews and Romans in the first Century including Rome and Jerusalem: the Clash of Ancient Civilizations and Josephus’ The Jewish War: A Biography. He is the leading scholar on the subject, frankly, anywhere in the world. It’s an honour to have him join us.
