Thank you for your interest in our Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur programme.

If you are a member, or have signed up to our mailing lists, you should have received a fuller version of what follows. If you haven’t, drop us a line and we’ll work out what’s gone wrong.

Over Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur we are offering in-building services, a streamed provision and a range of other programming.

In-Building Services

We are offering a full complement of traditional Minhag Anglia services in our beautiful sanctuary, led by Chazan Stephen Cotsen and Rabbi Jeremy Gordon.

On the first day of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we are also offering a family service for children in Years 5 and upwards with their parents. This service will be led by the fabulous team of David Djemal and Avi Green.

And we have a full range of children’s services for younger children.

Covid protocols are in place for all in-building services. These include mask-use and use of only alternate rows in the sanctuary.

Attendance at in-building services is by reservation only, even for members. In the first instance reservations will only be made available to members (who can book at no charge). Once we’ve given our members a head-start, if we continue to have space available, we will open reservations (at a charge) to friends and guests. If you are interested in reserving a seat as a friend or guest, click here

Streamed Services

Services in the sanctuary will be streamed to our usual web-address https://www.newlondon.org.uk/digital/

We use a ‘set & forget’ system which allows computers to be switched on before Yom Tov and left to run, without the need for switching on & off or typing, during these sacred days.

Additional Programming

Rabbis Jeremy Gordon and Natasha Mann are offering a range of educational offering in the run up to, and through Rosh Hashanah, see our regular mailings for more.

On Saturday evening 4th September, we are delighted to host some extraordinary cantors, singers and prayer leaders at the Masorti Slichot Service; Sh’ma Koleinu. Click here for more.

We hope to see you over these special days, and even if we can’t see you, we hope you will have the opportunity to see and hear us. We hope this year’s Rosh Hashanah heralds a year of emergence, in health and happiness from the journey of these past months.

Shannah Tovah, may we all be inscribed for a sweet year.
