Do you love to sing? Join the New London M’Shorerim (songstrels).
The M’shorerim of New London have been active now for 2 years.
We are a group of community members and visitors, who are invited to join the Shliach Tsibbur around the Amud, and contribute their voices, to amplify prayerful song in the Sanctuary.
Each one can “spontaneously” add to the melody freely. Some structures are put in place in the weeks before, though formal rehearsals and full commitment are not required.
M’shorerim is a term dating back to Temple Times. Some Levi’im were assigned to be song ministers (M’shorerim) to bring emotional and spiritual elevation to the ceremonies through music.
